You took their work, added nothing and charged 25% more for the privilege of people able to display it in something other than a lazy bland box.ĭo better, we aren’t as dumb as you seem to think (which is why your haslab failed even though the Rancor was good). Kenner managed to provide good looking packaging without adding 25% to the cost. Maybe the figure would be worth the price if they included some of whatever they’re smoking at hasbro on top. Yet, somehow, employing the better ideas of another company and not having to R&D their own packaging means it costs more? Am I missing something? These guys are the same people who tried to pass off a piece of cardboard and a handful of white chunks of plastic as a Haslab stretch goal, and tried to put a single tiny creature from the creature pack in a cardback and call that a haslab stretch goal. I’m an in-box collector, which means hasbro charges me 25% more so that I can display my figures in some nice Kenner-designed packaging instead of the garbage lazy boxes Hasbro designed themselves.
The figure is decent, however, what isn’t decent is the price.
